Win32s OLE-enabled -- Many applications have started to make use of this library extension from Microsoft. Win32s installs into the system directory of Windows and allows Windows 3.x users to run 32-bit applications. Applications that now require Win32s include Mosaic, VMPEG Lite, MPEGPlay, WebWizard 32, WS-FTP 32, WinQVT 32, WinVN 32, Whois 32, Sesame, and a few others. Win95 and Windows NT users won't need Win32s for running 32-bit applications. It is generally a good idea to first install the Win32s library before installing any 32-bit applications; however, most of the time it usually works in the reverse manner as well. Also, Win32s 1.25 will not work with OS/2 as of yet; the newest version that will work with OS/2 is Win32s 1.15.

Pros: If you have Windows 3.x and want to run 32-bit apps, this is a must-have client
Cons: Win32s sometimes causes installation problems, Win95 and NT users won't need
New: No obvious new features in version 1.30a
