Galahad for BIX -- Galahad is the perfect suite companion for the Byte Information eXchange. Features include e-mail, 'net news, a great web browser, conferencing, automated scripts, interactive/batch processing, and a blinker. Galahad has two purposes: to help you navigate BIX better and to reduce your on-line session charges. It is both a blinker and a front-end to BIX. The blinker allows many tasks -- including file downloading, news reading, e-mail sending/receiving, and web browsing -- to be accomplished off-line. Uploading and downloading information occurs in a batch-processing mode, thereby considerably saving on on-line connection costs. There is solid on-line help documentation, as well as a five hour free membership for new users. If you use BIX, you'll definitely want to be using Galahad, too.
